Post-Employment : Approval/ Review Routing

Rarely are HR actions performed without a review by others. The organization’s hierarchical structure, employee database, is used to specify the review chain. As actions and items are passed from one to another in the review process, the system maintains an awareness log of where the item is in the process and what action each reviewer has performed.

In the event a reviewer is absent, an alternate can be designated and the item automatically rerouted or, after a specific period of non-response, the item bypasses the absentee reviewer and moves up the chain.
